Shoreline West Neighborhood
Shoreline West is a neighborhood of Mountain View, California. With close proximity to downtown Mountain View, and Google's world headquarters, Shoreline West has seen much transformation over the past 25 years. What once were small homes to service the needs of Mountain View's first major industry, the Pacific Press, a Seventh Day Adventist publishing company, located on Villa Street from 1904 to 1984, Shoreline West now serves many families of technology employees from Google and surrounding technology companies all located nearby. Homes vary between small cottages built in the early 1900s, apartment style homes, through to new build properties that are two stories and much more expansive, accommodating today's work-from-home lifestyle and some multi-generational households.
