Neighborhood Interest Groups

Shoreline West Association of Neighbors (SWAN) have special interest groups that have been formed by neighbors. Below are the groups that are currently active in our neighborhood.

Mariposa Park Butterfly Habitat

Neighbors of Shoreline West have created a project team to create a Butterfly Habitat in Mariposa Park. The project will partner with the City of Mountain View and GreenSpaceMV to create an environment that will attract butterflies to Mariposa Park, our local butterfly themed park. Please sign up using the sign up box below to let us know that you would like to be part of the volunteer group to establish this butterfly habitat in Mariposa Park.

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)

The Shoreline West Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) provides assistance to the residents of the Shoreline West neighborhood during an emergency, particularly during a major emergency and the City of Mountain View emergency responders are not available. Shoreline West CERT welcomes new members, as well as those willing to participate in the leadership group. If you are interested in more information about how you can contribute to CERT, see http://www.shorelinecert.com/ or contact shorelinewestmv@gmail.com

Silly in the Street

Silly in the Street is a neighborhood kids block party that is hosted five times a year between March and October.  This distribution list gives neighbors a notification two weeks in advance of when the next event is scheduled to occur. To join this distribution list, please email the distribution list sillyinthestreet@gmail.com.
